Lee Hysan Foundation Music Family Hub

2024 was the launch of the Lee Hysan Foundation Music Family Hub Programme. The programme  sponsors 15 ensembles and choirs, connecting students and their parents through music, and brings  music to all communities.

The programme places students into elementary, intermediate and advanced choirs, string orchestras  and wind ensembles according to their age and musical abilities. A dedicated parents’ choir further  brings families together, nurturing the parent-child relationship within the Music Family Hub through  shared performance and singing. For students, this structure provides a vital foundation in their musical  journey—building confidence, strengthening interpersonal skills, and offering direction and strength  along the way. For parents, the programme offers more than just a choir. Through workshops, dance  classes and various activities, parents not only strengthen their relationships with their children but also  learn to support and appreciate one another.

Parents’ Talks

We place strong emphasis on the holistic development of parents. In addition to providing music training, we offer a series of talks and workshops centred around the challenges they face in family and daily life. Through these sessions, parents gain deeper insight into their children’s learning and growth, while also receiving the support and tools they need on their own journey of parenting and personal development.

Other Parent Activities

Through interaction and the exchange of experiences, a caring community has emerged where parents can support one another as they accompany their children on the journey of growth.
