The wind ensemble of the “Lee Hysan Foundation Music Family Hub”programme was invited by the Tai O Cultural Association to perform at the “Traditional Wooden Sampan Presentation Ceremony,” offering their musical blessings to Sam Lee Shipyard.

On the day of the event, the ensemble performed live by the seaside, bringing joy and warmth to the ceremony. Beyond the performance, we are deeply grateful to the Association for their thoughtful arrangements, which allowed our members to experience rowing a traditional wooden sampan, make salted egg yolks — a classic Hong Kong delicacy — by hand, and join a guided tour of Tai O’s iconic landmarks.

This meaningful experience offered us a rare and intimate glimpse into the rich history and unique charm of the fishing village.
