The First Inclusive Music Activity of the Community Music Facilitator Training Programme — “Vocal Improv.”

The Music Children Foundation (MCF) successfully held the first inclusive music activity of the 2026 Community Music Facilitator Training Programme — Vocal Improv. — on 19 April 2026, offering participants an engaging and community-centred musical experience.

The activity was led by Dr. Bobo Lo, founder of WAO!Singers, and her team. Departing from conventional music notation, participants were invited to use their voices and bodies as expressive instruments, exploring the freedom and joy of improvised music through creative interaction.

Following a two-hour training session, community music facilitators immediately applied their newly acquired skills by guiding participants to explore vocal expression and embrace music-making in an inclusive and supportive environment.

The programme concluded with a performance by WAO!Singers, who presented works in multiple languages and led the audience in a collective vocal improvisation inspired by the sounds of nature. Encouraging active listening and mutual resonance, the session drew to a joyful close as participants of all ages joined together in movement and song.

The Music Children Foundation sincerely thanks the WAO!Singers team, all community music facilitators, and every participant for their enthusiastic involvement and support.
