On Sunday, December 9th, Music Children Foundation was thrilled to participate in the “Party on the Pitch 2023” event organized by the Hong Kong Football Club. We set up a booth and our wind band was invited to perform as guest artists.

Our booth simulated a mock-up subdivided flat environment, allowing visitors to experience how to practice percussion without actual instruments, using household items instead. We also displayed DIY instruments to show how Music Children continued to learn music during the pandemic, even without access to traditional instruments.

Our founder, Monique, took the stage to introduce the repertoire performed by the wind band. She engaged with the audience through a Q&A session, deepening their understanding of wind instruments. Additionally, she distributed gifts, bringing immense joy to the children.
