Choir

Target participants: children from underprivileged families who are aged 6-12.

To allow more children share the joy of music, some children with particular interest in singing can join our choir (currently under the scheme of Jockey Club Music Children Fruit Programme) after audition. Some children who do not fare well in the audition of instrumental class have also been arranged to join the choir training to better prepare them for instrumental classes at a later stage.

In most cases, instrumental classes last for a total of 4 years. The organisation assesses students annually to review their learning progress and decide if they are suitable to continue their music classes.

Apart from regular music classes, the organisation also offers various performance opportunities for its students, with the aim to improve their self-confidence, sense of responsibility, and the ability to collaborate with others.
